It would be nice if all registered owners got an email when updates are released
Go to the Announcements page and change the subscription to 'Watching.' You will get a notice anytime there is a new announcement (almost always a new release).

Besides the above, the "Subscribe" button at the bottom of hubitat.com will add you to their mailing list and do exactly what you want (plus maybe a bit more but that's all I remember getting).
