Update: I just have weird problems with this stuff .. all the time!

Please check out Top Post.
I have a SMALL system : 21 - zigbee devices and 6 - z-wave devices.
Device's going off line .. having to readd them mostly ZigBee.
Same Battery button device's ( 5 ) total and only ( 1 ) will report battery
[dev:8] - 2024-02-16 07:16:21.943 AM[info] - 4-button-Switch - Living Room battery is 100%
Many of the windows do not show info like the Zigbee Network Graph .
When I try to do a local and it downloads I get a htm file not the manual.lzf
backupDB_fileName=latest (5).htm < inside it says : backup file not found

the Dashboard never seems to work right ...
The tiles just seem to stop working click a tile and it just gets the please wait symbol.
I goto the device and can tun it on and off just fine from the device page.
Most times I have to delete the tile and re-add it to get it to work again !

I unitstall them from Hubitat Package Manager

For my Development hub, I use the disable, since it seems to disable it about as much as uninstalling from what I can tell.

Yeah .. I installed the rebooter app .. and have the disabled ..

I was going to use it because of the problems i have ,.,
but am concerned it will mess up the data bases ..

Apologies. Thought I'd done that already, but evidently a short memory.

This is disturbing... If you take a local backup without downloading is it added to the list for the hub? If it does may want to consider a reboot with rebuild.

Other than that, maybe disable all devices and slowly reenable them to see if one appears to be an issue.

That's ultraconfusing to me.. the dashboard just clicks the device buttons via it's own unique MakerAPI-like interface. Are you using the Cloud version of Dashboard when you are Local?

Which are you using?

I agree to both your posts LOL It is very weird !
It is NOT added to the list when I get the HTM File. and no errors in logs.

I use the dashboard 99% locally from the home computer.

Power supply issues can sometimes be at the root of problems like these too - so maybe try a different power block.

Done reboot with rebuild. many .. many .. many times with BOTH hubs ( on 2nd now ) Just did that today!

Also Have tired disabling different ZigBee devices and did find on that was acting up .. I replaced it with a differnt device.

Ok .. that's something I have not tried .. using the brick that came with HUB.

By the way, I really appreciate you guys trying to help. Like I said in the first post, I wasn't sure that. anybody could really help me. It's amazing. how great you guys are.

What Brick should I try ? Whats a good one ?

C-8 should be able to use any that support 1.1A at 5VDC.

Starting to grasp at straws, may need to see if someone on the @support_team can look at the engineering logs to see if anything stands out.

Also .. It seems I lose memery kinda fast ..

Date/time,Free OS,5m CPU avg
02-16 10:35:53,690268,1.56
02-16 10:40:53,609332,1.19
02-16 11:20:54,616160,0.22

It gets less and less over about a week..

Are you running 2.3.8.118 or ??

well this is my replacement hub from support we are talking about today.
the 1st hub was way worse then this one LOL 2nd hub still giving me headaches !
But they did not send a new power brick sooooo many be this could be part of the problem!

Using C-8 on : 2.3.8.117

Try .118 - my memory after about 6 1/2 days

Are most of your issues related to button pushes not doing anything?

The old hub, what's it's status?

Because I'd go hard at using it to debug this.

Soft Reset it, then disable the Z-Radios. Reboot. Then restore a backup. Disable every app, disable every device. Let it sit for while.. look at memory 1 hour after reboot and then an hour later. What's the trend?

And so on, enabling one thing at a time, perhaps even creating Virtual Devices so that you can add them to a Dashboard and see when (or if) that ever stops.

Well I found a new power brick Samsung 5v 2amp in my drawer
Wonder if that would work.

I see from you pic that your memory use drops over time also ..
Mine seems to drop a bit faster .. Especially when I start at anything custom apps, like the one you'd do for your info, or the. Honeywell app. So I tend not to run any custom apps at all, which. is very sad. compared to everyone else that seems to confront 1000 different apps. and Webcore to get those fancy pictures that you're looking at. I don't dare do that. LOL

That should work.

We'll get you there.
