It's usually most helpful to ask questions about community apps/drivers in their release threads, which the developer typically monitors and they will get a notification since they started the topic. So you'll usually get help from the developer or other users of the code faster. 
You can also search the topic for keywords related to your question - as shown below, there have been multiple discussions in that topic regarding unknown devices that may be of use to you.
