Looking for under counter cabinet LED lights for my kitchen cabinets and TV Cabinet.
Really don't want light strips. The ones I bought in 2019 are no longer available
Any suggestions out there?
I use GE Cync - You didn't specific a protocol preference - The GE devices are Matter over WiFi, but they are full RGBW and mine are hardwired, and they seem bright and responsive. No issues pairing them, and they are then exposed to Alexa, GH, and RM - All those work fine for changing brightness, colors, and including multiple lights into a group - I like the local controls, and then mirror any local changes on one, to the others in the group.
Easy to get at Amazon.
I am using these, got them prior to moving to hubitat and trying to stay local. However, they work great with the integration and if internet does go down can still control them via the smartlife app via BT.
Lampaous on Amazon
They have RGB, RGBCW, CW in different profiles. You can see them all on their storefront on Amazon.
Others may have some better choices for staying locally controled
We just added 3 Cync lights during a kitchen renovation, one 12" under a corner cabinet and two 24" ones under two 33" cabinets. They seem well-made and have been relatively reliable on my IOT WiFi. I like the fact that you can link them up using the provided power cords, so we hard-wired one of the 24" ones and daisy-chained to the next one (just be aware you have to go right-to-left when doing that). They can do 2000K to 7000K in color temperature mode, which is a wider range than any of my other devices.
This picture was intentionally taken from a low angle so you can see the lights. If you're average height, they disappear under the cabinet edge.
The one on the right is hard-wired. The one on the left gets power from the first one.
