So, I bought a Hubitat hub, which needs no cloud support, that's a good thing.
As it needs no cloud support, it is firewalled by the "Great Wall From China".
But when I want to update the hub, it needs to be un-firewalled, updated, and re-firewalled. This is a pain.
Has anyone stumbled upon any way to download updates to one's PC, and then load them into the hub? The concern here is that so many exploits exist for "IOT devices", one is better served by keeping all the IOT stuff firewalled from both the outside world, and one's local computer LAN.
Yes, I know I could likely script the firewall changes with two different configs that can be each loaded as needed... not my preference here.
