Im sure I'm missing something but trying to include my TVs in scenes or otherwise automate and control them.
I have 3 TVs of interest currently (2 Sony and 1 Vizio). Will be adding an LG soon. In any event i have them added through the Chromecast Integration, but that's as far as I have been able to get. I can see them as devices in the device list and can use the fields in that section to mute, unmute, volume up down etc, but I have not figured out a way to include them in any automation to turn on or off at times or via voice command or in a scene controlled by HE.
That driver looks much better. My question is probably naive, but how do I make use of the options. In most apps I do not see the ability to use or call on the TV. or any of the subset commands? Is it all based on custom rules?
For instance, I do not see a native way to include the TV in a scene. so then I thought I could activate Power to the TV (and subsequent commands) to be triggered by activation of the scene. Scene, however does not seem to be a defined trigger option in the rule machine.
