Tuya ZigBee metering plug

Hi friend,

I buy 3 outlet tuya ZigBee outlet and they are not working well, integration was quickly after I activate after 1m or few h random they are closed, some time I cannot even activate, is getting me crazy, I buy to have a better mesh ZigBee network and cannot work with them, even a mosquito trap cannot put in this device. Any ideea how to fix?

Hi @sima.nikolae ,

From the screenshots, I don't see what is your plugs manufacturer ( please post a screenshot from the 'Data' section of the device web page), but most probably your outlets suffer from the known 'automatic turn off' problem. This is a problem with some of the Tuya plugs manufactured in the last one year (not all) , and it is more frequent when the voltage is higher than the nominal 230V. The plugs will turn off when there are voltage peaks above 250V. Your mains voltage is too high, I see measurements of 248V.. These voltage peaks will not be registered, but they will immediately turn the plug off. This doesn't depend on the Zigbee home automation system used - the same happens with the Tuya gateway or even when the plugs are not paired to any Zigbee network.

Some manufacturers have provided firmware updates that patch this random turn-off problem, but you need to have a Tuya Zigbee hub to apply the update.

Hi kkossev,

Thx for the answer, yes, I have a big problem with voltage, more then 250v.
Device is Neo outlet and here in RO is recommended your driver.

Now I need to find a tuya hub to update the soft or to return ....

Thx again
Nick
