Tuya zigbee 1-gang switch module not responding to commands

I am running multiple Tuya zigbee switch modules (1 and 2 gang) and they've all been working for over a year until suddenly one of them is not responding to commands from the hub. If I manually turn the switch on/off, the hub is getting updated. But the switch does not respond when turning it on/off through the hub.

I've tried restarting the hub and unplugged the power cable for 2 minutes to power cycle but still no luck. Any other recommendations?

Please post the particular device Model and Manufacturer details (can be found in Data section of the device web page) and the name of the driver used,

Do not delete device from hub and try a re-pair of the device.
It should be found again as an existing device.
It might do the trick.

I'm using Zigbee - Generic Switch (with Presence) driver from oh-lalabs.com

To be clear, I leave the device as-is on the hub.

I only initiate a reset on the device itself and then put the device and hub into pairing mode?

Yes, as @bobbles proposed, just put the device and the hub into Zigbee pairing mode.
