I've just upgraded to the C8-Pro and noticed the Tuya Integration (Beta). I have two Tuya devices, a heater and a dimmable floor lamp. I had already added these to a dev project so used the ID and secret from that and my two devices appear but the heater shows as a Tuya WiFi Dimmer 3.3 and the floor lamp as a Tuya WiFi Switch. If I update the floor lamp to be a Tuya WiFi Dimmer 3.3 it will sometimes respond to changes in level but not reliably.
Any suggestions?
Per the 2.4.4.129 release notes, only switches, multi-plugs, dimmers, CT, and RGBW lights are supported at this time.
Gopher has indicated that he plans to eventually expand the Tuya integration to more device types, but for now, the above are the only supported ones.
Thanks for that @hydro311 . Should the dimmer work with my floor lamp or is it not really meant for that? I'm currently using a driver that Ivar Holand wrote (2020) which I've tweaked and it generally works well but sometimes fails to turn on/off so I'd be keen to get the lamp working with the integration.
I don't have any experience with wifi Tuya devices or this integration, so I'm unfortunately not in a good position to say... But hopefully a fellow Tuya user will be able to chime in here.
