Tuya Hub

Hi all,

Question for the brains trust - I have a few Tuya devices controlled via the Smart Life app and I have been using my SmartThings hub to relay command via the Maker API using virtual switches in Hubitat.

This is slow and a pain in the @ss - is there a smarter way to do this please?

Meross garage is a garage opener
Meross Desk is a Meross smartplug
Furnace is an Genio IR blaster
Downlighs are Mirabella Genio
Kettle is a Kogan device
Feeder is a Genio feeder

SmartThings has an existing integration to both Meross and Smart Life which Hubitat does not have to my knowledge, so the skunkworks looks something like this;

Lounge Furnace is a Kasa plug which has a native Hubitat integration.

I suppose that your Tuya devices are WiFi ?

You can try this custom integration : [BETA] Tuya Cloud Driver (Limited device support), but it is not actively supported at the moment.

Thank you for the driver and the clear configuration guide.

Tuya cloud correctly linked the below devices, but only the ones in yellow were created as child devices. The Smart IR (and two related virtual devices) and my Breville Dehumidifier are not recognised.

The original community developer (bradsjm) of this app is no longer using Hubitat (I'm pretty sure he moved on to HA instead), so any Hubitat stuff on his GitHub (or still in HPM) is not maintained and some stuff may have been taken down.
