My HE is connected via Ethernet. I would really like an option to "disable the WiFi radio".
Is the WiFi radio in your C-8 hub connected to your home network? In addition to the Ethernet connection?
Just clear out the settings for the WiFi radio. Or, even better, simply press and hold the network reset button on the bottom of the hub to revert everything back to DHCP. With the Ethernet cable plugged in, the WiFi radio should not try to connect to anything.
