Troubleshooting MOES 4 Gang Tuya ZigBee Wireless Switch Pairing Issue

I recently purchased a MOES 4 Gang Tuya ZigBee Wireless 12 Scene Switch Push Button Controller Battery Powered Automation Scenario for Tuya Devices from AliExpress. I'm currently trying to put it into pairing mode. The provided instructions, as well as some online tutorials, suggest that after inserting the battery, I should press and hold the reset button (button 3 in this case) until all four buttons flash. However, I'm encountering a different behavior. Button 3 lights up briefly and then turns off, without all four buttons flashing.

Here's what I've attempted so far:

• Removing and reinserting the battery after 11 seconds, 30 seconds, and even waiting for an hour, but there's no difference in the outcome.
• Trying to hold each button individually, but they only light up solidly for a short period before turning off.
• Tired a bunch of different button combinations with no luck.
• Tired putting in the battery while holding the reset button
• Experimenting with different batteries, but the issue persists.

I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this problem with the same device and managed to identify the cause.

Each button has 3 actions. Push, Double Push and Hold. I think what you are seeing is the Hold action for the button. Keep holding the button down after the one button lights up until all four light up. That is how it works with the one I have.

Yes, button #3 (usually the lower left button) needs to be held for about 10 seconds, before all 4 LEDs start flashing.

Thank you both for your response. I managed to hold it down for what felt like the gazillionth time, and voila, it finally decided to cooperate!
