Trouble pairing Enerwave RSM1 relay - SOLVED

I have an Enerwave RSM1 and have been unable to pair it. I have numerous other Zwave devices that work fine. I installed the Enerwave driver code from ericm:

I then shut down my hub and cycled power to it. Next, I held down the "program" button on the RSM1 module for 10 seconds to reset it (and I could hear the relay clicking on/off 4-5 times in response so I know that worked). Then I tried to "exclude" the device from the hub, but got no response. I then tried to "include" it, but again no response. The RSM1 is sitting about 5 feet away from the hub, so it's not a reception issue.

Is there anything else I should try before concluding it's a defective device?

I forgot to mention, I'm running a C7 hub, version 2.3.8.118.

Thanks.

Problem solved! The issue was caused by a typo in the RSM1 instructions. They say to push the "program" button to initiate inclusion/exclusion of the relay. That is incorrect - you have to push it three times, not just once.

Everything works great now. But it took me three days to finally figure this out. After MANY internet searches I finally stumbled upon the right answer. What a pain.

You saved me a lot of frustration today - I’d already wasted almost 2 hours when I found your post. Thank you so much! What an awful typo to have!
