Trigger Disabled

Only indication is the rule stopped working. Digging into it I found this. Worked for over a year just like this until a short time ago. Any ideas?

IF you have more than one trigger AND you disable one of them AND you delete the disabled one (using trash can button), THEN that red Disabled Trigger text stays.

Don’t know how to get rid of it.

Appears to be harmless.

I did none of those things to that rule as it has worked for a long time. The rule no longer triggers. So it is pretty much useless until I can figure out how to fix it or hubitat fixes it with an update.

Did you set logging for the triggers and test each to see what’s going on?

That “warning” doesn’t effect any of my real (not disabled) triggers.

Thanks for the insight. What I have done is to recreate that rule and delete the original. Because removing the triggers left the warning in the blank trigger box. The warning is gone in the new rule. I think there was more wrong with it than the trigger thing. I dug into it more and abode has changed the timeline message. Why? Because they could and like to break things.

I agree with you that Abode has changed something. Several of my automations also stopped working.

However, I don't think you need to monitor the gateway Timeline for specific trigger phrases if you use the 2024 Abode integration. It allows you to use a change in gateway mode as a trigger.
