Tizen Update for Samsung TV's

Just wondering...they just updated the TV's software. They make it sound like it's a major update...who knows...that might just be marketing? Anyway...I'm assuming the old control drivers will still work...but just wondering if developers will now be able to pull the real time status of things like "ambient."

I guess I'm assuming that the smart people writing driver here know where to find the complete tech specs for the TV's?

You might pay attention to the SmartThings advance information and see if that indicates what you are looking for, the local device APIs are hit or miss at best and vary a lot between TV models, and even which ones get the new OS version.
