I have a RM to turn chime on with a trigger, I want to set a limit of 30 sec chime play.
What command are you sending to play the sound? Does your device have a command that can stop playing a sound when that command is run? Playing with the commands available to you on the device page (buttons at the top of the device page) may help you figure out what would work in Rule Machine, even if you need to use a "custom action" to do so.

There are Stop & Pause buttons on the devices page. I'll see if I could add "stop Play" in 30 sec. Action in the RM
