I brought some new Aqara P2 Thread sensors. It's paired through my HomePods and Apple TVs, making them available in Apple Home, Home Assistant, the Aqara app, and even Hubitat.
They were working fine, but recently it went offline in Hubitat, even though it’s still online and working properly on all the other platforms (Apple Home, Home Assistant, and Aqara). I’d like to know how that’s possible!
Pressing Configure or Initialize doesn’t help. The only way to bring it back online is by rebooting Hubitat.
I’m not sure, but it seems like the sensor’s IPv6 address or route is changing, and Hubitat can’t locate the new one. Does this make sense to you? Is Hubitat’s Matter mDNS capable of handling IP address changes
