Heads up, was chatting with ThirdReality and they are aware of the over reporting and will release a new firmware to calm it down in the very near future.
I have the same error
"com.hubitat.app.exception.UnknownDeviceTypeException: Device type 'Generic Component Switch with power' in namespace 'hubitat' not found on line 160 (method configure)"
I did a firmware update - but when I do it nothing seems to happen. No log entry even.
I switched to the Generic Zigbee Multi Endpoint and configured. No errors but also no child devices show up either.
I had a couple hubitats before, just moved and got a new one and this is the first device I'm adding. Brains a little rusty on it all to be honest.
Just an update. Firmware 1.00.42 is out (on the TR Hub) and the plug behaves differently. No reports while off. No reports while on and not drawing power. This is great! One small issue for me is the number of reports while drawing power seems excessive im my opinion, 24 reports in 1 minute. Sent a note to TR, they are listening to us which is very nice to see that level of support.
Oh, fyi, my plug joined up this time as a Third Reality dual plug. 2 child devices created, no issues.
Edit, after speaking with TR, I reset the device and rejoined, working quite well now. Very tame ![]()
