Thermostat scheduler and temp hold

I currently have a Honeywell wifi t-stat, which means I've been using it only though the Honeywell app (Resideo). It's starting to act up, so I'm looking to replace it, but I'm trying to understand a few things in Hubitat. I set up a virtual stat, but I have questions.

The way my current one works, I have a schedule in place, and if change the temp manually, I have hold options, including having it hold until the next scheduled event or I can do a permanent hold. With the virtual stat, the dashboard tile does not give me any hold options. I can change the temp, but in researching this, I've seen mention of it changing back to the schedule.

So, how do I do temp holds in Hubitat, and what options are there? I can't seem to find any of this.

In my testing, I did change the type to Honeywell T6, but still no options for hold on the scheduler, the tile, or the device settings.

This may be more (or less) than you want, but I know that Hubitat HD+ has been getting some thermostat work recently. Look here for more information.

That's an android app. I have an iPhone, and changing over to an Android phone isn't a good option for me for a few reasons.

If you use the thermostat scheduler app, you can set a switch that will disabl changes. Then you just need to add this switch to your dashboard.

You can do pretty much anything with Hubitat, the question is typically what works best for you…
