Course of actions:
Created a timed thermostat scheduler.
Made a rule to enable or disable EcoMode on that scheduler
All was fine until...
Made a new Scheduler based on Hubitat Mode
Rule to adjust EcoMode stopped working: Investigated.
Attempting to edit the rule action
Thermostat Scheduler for mythermostat: EcoMode ON -> Unknown Error
Delete and recreate the action was successful and fuctional
My thoughts: Changing the Scheduler mode from time to mode broke the rule without flagging it as a broken rule.
I didn't document the step by step for you although the original is on a back up. It is fixed for me now but I thought you may want to know.
I"m using ECOmode for one of my Thermostats as well but rather than by Hub Mode I have it set a variable. I created 2 rules in RM, the first one sets a variable based on a Weather API temp reading, the second rule monitors the variable the sets Ecomode on or off depending on the True or False of the variable.
