Is there a way to set thermostat Controller to "controlled" in automation? I want to disable (turn off) my air conditioner when my electric dryer is on. When I do this, it changes my thermostat controller to "free". When it's finished, I want to resume operation, but I don't know how to get it back to "controlled". Is this possible or do I need to try to find a different automation
Make rule actions that turns thermostat controller on/off per the example below.
Off will set it to free and On will set it to Controlled.

Thank you. That's it. Wish it was somewhere in the documentation. Or maybe I just don't know enough yet about programming this stuff.

It’s a matter of learning what you can do with Rule Machine. You’ll get the hang of it over time. It’s difficult to document everything that can be done with it because it’s very extensive.
