I'll admit I am somewhat new to using AI to.... replace me... sigh... Lol... Ok... Not really, I get that AI agents in particular can play an important role in offering suggestions for improvements and other assistance in the future. Importantly they require information about how you want to write your code, or, for many of us, how your organisation wants the code written. My mind has been blown recently with how far this has progressed in being able to be configured in the platform I work within.... Guiding the AI agents with how our source control and coding standards have been shaped, guiding the responses the AI agent provides, plus it's potential involvement in future DevOPS processes...
I would be interested to know how some of this vague description could apply to what people are doing with AI in HE? My biggest use-case I can see is understanding the versions of "stuf" built-in to HE along with defining the internal HE API for use in interrogation of the best way to code HE drivers or apps.
Thanks Rick. It does look somewhat scary in some respects, but I expect my generation will likely still be able to make a crust, Hopefully the list of those impacted more will be less.

But this was not the vibe I was going for... I should admit my mind did also drift to another Oz cultural reference of "the vibe" which would likely be a little harder to explain than a black breakfast spread to an external audience (the movie The Castle)... Or maybe not...

To stay on topic... this is definitely one use case I see. Additionally, I have found AI to be very helpful in understanding some of the Matter logs that are now being provided as I troubleshoot some Thread devices.
I'm also seeing a few other use cases for AI:
1.) Either new or updating old community integrations; bringing back abandoned apps/integrations; etc...
2.) There has been an explosion of new Apps as well. Rather than pushing Rule Machine to its limits, we are seeing folks create custom apps for unique ways of controlling their devices.
Personally, I'm not a developer, but I do freely admit to using Gemini for my own personal hub to help expand a community integration and built a custom app based on the expansion.
Well, I finally tried using Gemini to create an app for Hubitat and holy crap that was easy. Just a small app dedicated to turning off an outlet, and then double checking that the outlet reported off, and resending the command if it doesn’t report off, then send me a notification if that didn’t work. All I had to do was copy the text into HE and save (thankfully since I don’t code). I can see this becoming addictive pretty fast. Also, I did it all from my iPhone while laying out soaking up some sunshine.
