That is some great timing

I just got a new C-8 Pro to replace a C-7 at my vacation home. I'm headed there this Saturday to swap it out. Guess what has just happened? Yup. C-7 no longer pingable. Flip off the power on the Kasa switch it is plugged into, then back on. Watch it boot up. Everything looks good. Poke around a bit, then no response. No ping again. Power off, power on, watch it boot, gets right to the point of showing the UI when ping goes away again. Try third time, it boots, get into UI, take quick look at network speed negotiation, and it is set to auto. Ping goes away. Guess I will wait to replace it. It's toast.

Do you have any auto-shutdown or reboot rules? Any chance one of them got stuck in some sort of loop running at system start?

Almost sounds like it is shutting down or possibly just getting disconnected from the network for some reason.

If it has failed, that is an odd way for it to die, have not seen that reported on here before.

Good suggestions, but not in this case. I’ll know more Saturday.
