Testing new interface non beta- parent link not working

if i go to child direct from devices .. parent link works.. just doesnt work when i drill down to child from the parent, then try the link

I'm seeing the same thing, but no error in the logs.

I think it's due to the child devices opening in a new tab. When I open the child device directly, it is displayed in a pane over top of the main UI. When I drill down from the parent, it's displayed in it's own tab with the direct URL of the child device in the address bar.
