I have just bought the Tapo Matter 4 way Smart power Strip, Once on google it allows me to add to hubitat, but it only shows two of the four sockets. Hubitat is using the "Tapo Smart Matter Outdoor Dual Plug" as type.
Is there a way i can make it see and work with all four sockets on the strip..
Once added to hubitat it just creates socket 1 and one child.
Thanks, i have changed but after clicking configure no more child devices are added, the child device is a generic component switch, but you cannot edit the type.
Change the driver to the HE inbuilt 'Device' driver, then click on the 'Get Info' button and publish a screenshot of the device 'fingerprints' from the live logs. The info will be useful for Hubitat to add support for this device in a future update.
You can also temporarily use the community Matter Advanced Bridge driver (available from HPM), until P304M is natively supported in Hubitat.
While using the 'Device' driver, use the command to delete the already created child devices, if you decide to try the community driver later.
Thanks for all you help and time, the matter advance bridge shows all four of them and i can turn them off and on. hopefuly one day they will have a proper support for the P304m Tapo power stip
