Tapo bulb

Hi,

Has anyone managed to connect Tapo bulbs to their system? I got one as part of a deal and can't seem to connect it, so I'm wondering whether I need to bin it and add to my other smart bulbs that do connect.

Any ideas?

Four Kasa multi-plugs are supported. See top link in this thread for exact part numbers. If there is a model that is not on the list, please inform me. I try to keep up with the Kasa product line; however, I only see US products. Finally, TAPO products are not currently supported. They use different android software and therefore require a different program interface. When someone has one, I will be able to set up a quick test and add if the devices work. Dave Link:

Looks like their bulbs are wifi only so it won't connect with HE directly (may be able to use Alexa or GH to pull them in though).

Someone may be able to do it in the future. The data is out there on GitHub for cloud connection using an AES Encryption. Right now, Hubitat does not have a working (to my knowledge) AES encryption algorithm. Maybe later.
