So i created a user in surv station that has the permission to change mode. i've entered it in - should it work in browser as a test?

i'm getting error {"error":{"code":105},"success":false}.

tried with and without {} on user and pass. obs xxx is changed

here's the url i get for external http://192.168.1.xx:xxxx/webapi/entry.cgi?api=SYNO.SurveillanceStation.ExternalEvent&method="Trigger"&version=1&eventId=2&eventName="This is external event2"&account="{account}"&password="{password}"

should i use external ip perhaps hmm

ok, you are close, just use notepad / textedit to auto replace all the quotation marks " with %22

I forget why you need to do this, but it works.

thank you so much so my original ones worked (webhook) without user pass but i just had to replace " with %20! lovely!
