Sylvania LIGHTIFY Smart Switch 8 Functions/ 4 Buttons

I don’t think starting from scratch would be necessary. Just pull batteries from end devices and shut off power to repeaters. Then pair all switches. Then turn repeaters back on and put batteries back in. I would pair all the switches and just leave the batteries in personally.
When I paired the switches to an empty hub it wasn’t hit or miss. I paired each on once and that was the last time I did that.

Well, I think you are right...

My system isn't particularly complicated, so I went ahead and shut down all the Lightify lamps that act as repeaters, pulled the batteries out of my IRIS motion detectors, and then proceeded to delete the apps that used my switches, then delete the switches, and finally re-pair the switches.

You are right, pairing the switches takes a rather long time, but when all the other traffic on the mesh is eliminated, they do pair perfectly.

I rebuilt the apps for controlling the light groups, and all is now working.

Thank you for your advice!

I’m glad you were able to get it worked out :slightly_smiling_face:
