Did the bulbs flash blue, green, red when you did that?
Yes they did...
So unplug plug 5 times and then plug and they flashed...
started the zigbee discovery with no success multiple times.
Is your old hub off when you try to pair? Also are they zigbee 3. bulbs?
yes old hub is off..
Dont know which zigbee version
I can not posy the URL in here
Google

You may think about getting another hubitat or a hue bridge to pair it to. The reason is that those zigbee bulbs make bad repeaters. You don't want them on the same zigbee network as other zigbee devices as they will crash your mesh like a angry drunk at a wedding reception... If it's the only zigbee devices on hubitat you'll be fine. That said, it's showing that the bulb reset so I'm not sure why it's not seeing it through the discovery. Perhaps keep the bulb off, start discovery and then turn bulb on. Do this as close to the hub as possible. It might kick it
So After the bulb reset and they flash. turn off. start discovery and turn bulbs on?
I have these and couple LED strip from sylvania and really had no problem with the old ADT hub. what other LED strips do you suggest?
There's innovelli or you could get a roll of standard strips and rgbgenie controller. Your existing bulbs/strips will be fine on their own hub. So if you get a hue bridge, connect them to that then use cocohue to connect the two hubs and let HE control everything. A lot of us do this. I have one because I have a bunch of shitty cree bulbs for the occasional table lamp.
These should pair fine with the hub. They appear to be the newer Ledvance version, not the Osram that caused problems. Try rebooting your hub from the settings tab and then pair the lights.
FWIW....I have a couple of the newer LEDVANCE strips on my hub and haven't had any problem with my zigbee mesh (40 devices in my mesh). I would get them paired and see if they mess up your mesh before getting another hub.
I have used a few sylvania (ledvance) rgbw led strips paired directly to Hubitat without issues.
I think that devices with newer firmware could be what makes the difference.
The newer devices use a different zigbee chip than the Osram ones did.
tried all the suggestions with no success.
Should I change the zigbee channel?
also, how do I ensure that the zigbee radio is working on my hub as I only have 2 devices and they are z-wave
count me in the "no problem with sylvania" group
trick is to get the newer ZHA bulbs, not the older ZLL sylvania/osram
New=FCCID= DZO-AETHER, not IQHOME
Does not make sense that I could pair this to the smartthings in 3 seconds and I can not pair it to Hubitat
what is the difference?
again how do I ensure that the Zigbee radio is working on the Hubitat
500 Series Chip and SDK (ST), 700 Series Chip and SDK (HE C7)
Typically channel 15 or 20 give the best results. It won't hurt to swap channels.
Did you start Zigbee pairing on the hub first, then do the unplug sequence? It reads like you did it the other way around?
The only way you can tell if it is enabled (not working) is to go to Settings, Zigbee Details. It will say "Enabled" or "Disabled" to the left of the channel settings.
To really tell if it is working, maybe you would have to pair a different device? I don't think there is any other way to detect the radio waves or whatever.
Did you try doing a Shutdown from the Settings page? Do that shutdown, wait until you get a red light on the hub. Pull the power cord at the wall. Wait 30 seconds, and plug back in. That reboots the radios. A hub reboot does not reboot the radios too.
That’s a good point. If that doesn’t help, he may need @bobbyD . He’s been trying to get the lights paired since last week. It should have been immediate. Make sure you are using a different zigbee channel than SmartThings if you plan on keeping the SmartThings hub on.
Thanks..
I think I tried all of the above..
Smartthings is off and bettery unplugged.
Do you have any other Zigbee devices to try? This is the first Zigbee device you have tried pairing?
