Switching to local dashboard

Seems like this step is not needed, especially when Wi-Fi is off, it loads super quick. IOW, it knows to use the local dashboard.

So why when Wi-Fi is enabled AND connected to Wi-Fi, it appears to default to the cloud dashboard then make the switch?

My wife loaded up the app the other day and said, it took a long time to load... b/c of this switch

Might be the case on Android.
With iOS the app is very slow on cloud setting with WiFi.
(I have fast internet)
