Switchbot IR blaster

I have a C8, and would like to integrate my switchbot Ir blaster remote buttons into my c8 dashboard, I tried downloading the switchbot Ir using package manager but it appears to get hung up everytime I try to down load, any suggestions out there? Try to control an electric fireplace…..any advice is greatly appreciated

What exactly happens when you try to use Hubitat package manager?

Can you look for any log entries from the Hubitat package manager app in your hub logs at the time you’re trying to download?

I do not see any Switchbot Ir in Package Manager. I also see no releases for it in this community.

I would just go with an IR blaster that does work with Hubitat Locally. Broadlink, Bond, or the Tuya Zigbee blasters. There are drivers for all of those. I have two Broadlink RM4 Minis, and two Tuya Zigbee blasters. The Zigbee blasters are cheap on Ali Express. The Broadlink and Bond integrations are local wifi, and no cloud is needed.

SwitchBot gets an open API!

I finished up my driver and posted my code here: GitHub - tomwpublic/hubitat_switchbot . Check out the readme on GitHub for the list of currently supported devices. You can also find it in HPM by searching for "hubitat_switchbot". I have tested with the HT meter and the hub IR functionality and all seems to work. Please let me know if you see any issues with any of the devices.
