Switch z-wave works, physical rocker doesn't

Before I start physically change a switch i thought i'd ask if anyone else has had this problem. I have a 3 way switch setup --

• Inovelli Smart switch SLZW30 (3 -way)
• Add-on switch

It was working fine for 8 months and all of sudden the physical rocker switch on the SLZW30 doesn't work. I can turn on/off using Z-Wave or the Add-on switch, just can't use the physical rocker on switch. I assume it's dead and needs replacing? Or is there something else?

Inovelli has an option to segregate the physical paddle from the logical relay portion. You describe exactly how it works... when it's intentional

The use is typically to turn the paddle into a button or scene controller and send the paddle switch actions to the Hub... leaving it to Rules that interpret what to do with the button press.
