Apologies if this has been addressed previously, or I have placed it in the wrong category...
My experience with Swap Apps Device in Settings has been that I still need to go into any Groups where the old device was, and click the Refresh button to force it to swap to the new device. The Group knows which device needs to be swapped, so it seems it should be doing it automatically without a Refresh.
Are you using Zigbee group broadcasting? This would be necessary in that case since the actual device has no way to know that its ID in the hub database was swapped, only that it is/was a member of a certain Zigbee group as set by the Groups (or Room Lighting) app -- if you have that option enabled. Zigbee groups require a bit of care any time you do something like reset a device since there is information stored on the device itself in this case, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is in the same vein. (Hitting "Done" would be enough, no need to "Refresh.")
Anything else might just be a display issue in the app, as I think it caches the list of devices. If that's not it, can you state what specifically you're experiencing?
Yes, I do have Zigbee Group Messaging enabled on those groups. I did not realize that some of that data was on the individual device. Thanks for the insight.
