Hello Support,
would it be possible to add the device id in the description of the dropdown for Swap app Device app. Lot of times, when the names are the same, as we are trying to replace a device.. it gets confusing. adding the device id like "Garage Light (297)" [ Device Name (Device ID)] would make it much more fool proof.

I always rename the item I am replacing with a suffix of "_old" before I start the process. I would never name 2 devices the same name, even if I were only doing it temporarily (such as for replacement).

Totally agree. I always use different names to help keep things straight (for Swap Apps and beyond)

I do the same as well.. but having an id, I would think is not much effort to program as in the background the device id must be used..., So just displaying it would reduce a step or two , having to rename devices etc.. thats why its a feature request, 
I agree this would be useful to have some other identifier besides just the name.
Also having the drop down list be searchable would be very good as well!
