Two SmartThings Zigbee multisensors (2016). Both were working when taken out of service.
BUT... These were modified (by me) with the addition of wire leads to allow them to use 2 AA batteries rather than a CR2450. I followed a guide to use a 3D printed case (4 cases included) and re-fit the whole sensor in the case. They worked fine like this... but it really was a mistake - it was painful to get the batteries in the right position in the 3D printed case. A better choice would be to put the sensors back in their original case and use wire leads from a 2 AA battery holder. I just replaced them with an Iris v2 contact sensor (whose CR2 battery far outperforms the CR2450).
You can remove the wires and reassemble them back into the original case to use a CR2450.
Hello,
I was wondering if the Aeotec is still available. I am looking for a Lux sensor, I believe the Aeotec listed above can also do Lux/Light sensor.
Thank you
I received the lux sensor and they are absolutely perfect for my use case. Also very quick response and quick shipping, thank you @jlv . I am officially automated
Hahahaha. You too? Even when I buy screws at HD she says “really you don’t have that screw at home? One in - One out” Luckily it’s been all fluff so far.
