Suggestions for a rule to shutdown the Hub on a UPS during power outage?

I currently have my Hub on a UPS (backup battery supply), I need to figure out a rule that shuts down the hub when a power outage happens. Any ideas?

Assuming you have a way to trigger it, you can use @ogiewon 's code to Post to /hub/shutdown to port 8080

Yes, this is very easy to accomplish on Hubitat's platform. It is really almost identical to ST's implementation. For example, take a look at my "HTTP Momentary Switch" Driver for Hubitat. Also, take a look at this WiKi post which highlights some of the simple changes necessary when porting apps/driver from ST to Hubitat.

Note that this doesn't work if you have authentication enabled on your hub based on this:

[DRIVER] NUT Discovery + UPS & Outlet Status

If it sends a POST to the right endpoint (/hub/shutdown), then yes. But not if security is enabled.

I use Tasker (Android phone) to periodically reboot the hub. You could probably adapt this for an always-on Android phone to use Tasker to detect power loss and send the command to the hub. Just a thought.
