Successful C7 to C8PRO Migration

I am still testing but so far everything looks good after performing the migration from C7 to C8PRO... Followed the official directions to the T and everything went normally. Cloud restore looks like it did its job fine.

.Initially had some issues with my IP related integrations post migration like grafana, influxdb logger etc... and then I realized I had some mac address filtering on the iot zone firewalls (matching the C7 MAC, So C8 was getting refused).. Once I fixed that in my router, they all came back.

My Zwave mesh map went from looking like a tangled and stoned out spider's web nest of connections and routes to a straight spoke and wheel... every device is a direct route from the hub.

Thanks for the report of a successful migration. The numerous posts describing problems have caused me to postpone setting up my C8 Pro (still in the box for about a year).

You're welcome... Naturally people will always post when there are problems (to get help in solving etc)... but you don't see all the success cases.

I was stable on C7 but have a need for a zwave LR so I took the plunge.... I hadn't anticipated the incredible cleanup of the legacy zwave mesh. The 800 series chip combined with the external antenna has redrawn the map.
