A quick PSA for anyone with the newer Somfy ZigBee motors who isn't using the Tahoma hub and their proprietary, expensive remotes. I recently bought and installed three Loratap "ZigBee 3 Gang Remote" devices from Aliexpress for about $14/each. They paired easily with my C8, configured the buttons with the "Button Controller" app, and were immediately successful. The units are recognized as Tuya ZigBee Scene Switches.
Previously, I tried to use the Somfy ZigBee remotes directly with my C8. While I could pair them with the C8, I could not log or otherwise see any of the button presses in Hubitat so I couldn't utilize the Button Controller app to map actions to remote buttons. That led me down the path of using a generic ZigBee remote control. I considered the Lutron Pico but wasn't thrilled with the printed graphics on the buttons (these remotes will go in guest bedrooms so I want to keep everything as straightforward as possible). The Loratap remote has three buttons: an open shade, a pause button, and a closed shade.
