So this is only my first subscription anniversary/renewal for online backup, so I don't know if this was part of the previous messaging flows, dialogues or part of the new overall subscription flow rework, but it was nice to get
- notification that the subscription was about to renew... with a weeks notice
- clear instructions and links to either change payment method or
- link to cancel the sub if you don't want it anymore.
I'm not a big subscriber all over the place... but it is far less common to see all three of those points in a proactive notice to the subscriber; far too many want you to set and forget.
I'm keeping the service, so nothing for me to do here... but this is a nice flow to the subscriber, well done.
