Has the current scheduled subscription maintenance, rescheduled from Tuesday to Wednesday to Thursday not yet started or is it continuing in increments?
Postponed twice. Each time the confidence that will start increased. Current confidence level that it will start tomorrow: 99.999%
Will this fix it so that I can pay for my subscription? Or is that a different problem that I’m having? Where it says
Yes, will be fixed.
We have rebuilt the backend to eliminate this and many other issues that have been reported in the past few months.
I was hoping we had won the Hubi Lottery ![]()
Yeah, but if nobody pays, this all goes down the ![]()
The release notes of the update may not be glamorous to the end users, but significant effort has been made to improve the user experience:
- Eliminated legacy blockers and auto-closure workarounds.
- Restored payment reprocessing and enabled pre-expiration reactivation.
- Standardized recurring discounts, enforced "best value" limits, and automated discounts removal on loss of eligibility.
- Streamlined email templates and messaging flows.
- Updated the Registered Hubs page and Subscriptions page on my.hubitat.com.
Maintenance is complete. I was able to easily pay my on hold subscription. Now to migrate (hopefully smoothly) to my new C8 Pro and then transfer the Hub Protect subscription.
Working for me as well. Just migrated to a C-8 Pro a couple weeks ago and didn’t even have to get out of bed to do it. Of course, I had previously connected the new hub to power and Ethernet. I believe that there were both Zigbee and Z-wave firmware updates that I did prior to migration.
Just a final comment. After being able to successfully pay my on hold subscription I migrated, with much trepidation, from my C8 to C8 Pro. This was a device with a few hundred mixed devices and a boat load of user apps, numerous integrations, Hue, Lutron, webCoRE, Wiz, Amazon, Ecobee and more. I disabled all of the integrations. Turned off the C8, changed the C8 Pro router reserved IP address to the former C8 and restored the "migration ready" backup. After a few minutes the C8 Pro came back online with what appeared to be most everything. It took a few minutes to, one by one, renew the disabled app integrations. The only additional thing I had to do was log back into Ecobee. Everything appears to work perfectly. The only apparent difference is an extra Gig of free memory vs 200+ k and 3.5% CPU load vs 12 to 15%. In fairness, my C8 worked very well, only requiring a reboot every few weeks as free memory slowly declined.
I'll play with z-wave js after is has a few days to settle.
Let me know if today's update fixed your issue.
It did indeed. Much appreciated.
