Subscribe to a hub update available event?

Is this possible to subscribe to a hub update available event?

The easiest way to know when Hubitat releases new firmware for the hub is to make sure your Community Account Preferences are set to email you whenever a new post is made to the Announcements and Release Notes categories.

I am not aware of a Location event that can be subscribed to in order to know that a Hub Firmware Update is available.

I wonder if the location event could be added.

+1 for a way to identify if a hub update is available using RM

It would also be great if a hub update could be actioned from RM in my opinion.

I really wish I could setup this use case..

Subscribe to an update available event

Receive a pushover with the update version number

Click a single button in HE dashboard that starts the update

Receive a hub start up message via pushover (this action already possible)

Bruce, I know you are reading these.

Just added hubUpdateStatus to the Hub Information driver. RM should be able to see it as a Custom Attribute.

Button?!? You are so old fashioned

I want an action in RM or Maker API or endpoint to update the hub after careful evaluation of the update version number, frequency of updates etc. We can automate the heck out of our houses but can't update the hub programmatically?!?
