I usually don't stay current with the Hubitat versions. I tend to state if it works why update? Anyway this weekend I updated to 2.4.0.146 on both my hubs after say my last update was in October. The strangest thing was after the update I got hit with two battery notifications one for a Samsung Button in a room that we don't use often and then also on a Samsung Leak Sensor that we have near the laundry tub.
I went back and looked at the battery history in my InfluxDB and Grafana and before the update both devices seemed to be stuck at about 30% and then after the update the hub must have reconnected to both or there was just enough battery in both to get a battery status to the hub which was below 20%.
I was wondering if in the notifier app for battery could be extended to look at battery draw down vs. just a percentage left since. I know battery reporting is hit or miss with battery devices, but this may save somebody from having a dead sensor lead to bad consequences.
I noticed there is a user app called Device Activity Check I just installed that will report daily if no activity is seen which may also help out in this circumstance.
