2.4.1.177, C8. Rule has been stopped for weeks but started running on its own 2 days ago.
We need to see logs that show the app's logs. Also, if you could post a screenshot of the rule's Event Subscriptions and Application State from the App Status page (i icon). And, please post a screenshot of the rule itself.
I know what happened; In a recent platform update there was an automatic update done to existing rules. That rule update failed to take into account the fact that the rule was Stopped, and consequently the update caused it to not be stopped anymore.
This has been fixed. However, in your case it was a one-time only event that has already bit you, and won't bite again. Sorry for the bug. Your rule will stay Stopped going forward as it should.
