Status of philips hue strip does not update properly

I'm migrating from ST to hubitat and I have a Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance LightStrip Plus strip connected to a Hue bridge that I imported into my hub using the appropriate app, but when I add it to my dashboard, the status shows it as off when I turn it on using a physical button (Philips Hue Smart Button) I have that is also connected to the bridge (that is not in hubitat).

However, I can turn the light on using the dashboard and it will update to on, it just won't if I use the other method, which is what I generally use. Is there something I have configured incorrectly for the strip and/or dashboard?

It seems this is happening to all of my Philips hue lights, not just this one.

If I’m not mistaken, the integration app has to poll Hue for a status update. If this is the case, then it will eventually synchronize.

Ah that was it! I shortened the polling interval and while not instant it will work for now. Except now I have the same issue with my Kasa dimmer switch and it seems the polling rate for those are on the device level but when I attempt to update it from 30 minutes to something quicker the update doesn't get saved.

I wonder if there might be a community integration to the Kasa dimmer which could have a faster polling rate? I don’t have Kasa devices myself.
