Starting with device associations

I am just starting with associations between devices, and thought I would start with a zse18 motion detector to a zen26 switch, I have added the network ids of the switches to the device association field in the zse18 advanced driver, and I have clicked configure, but i must be missing something since the lights don’t come on when the detector goes active

Any advice will be appreciated

You've got to look in the instructions for the zse18 and see how to wake it up. It'll probably wake itself up in like 12 or 24 hours, but if you're impatient you can wake it up manually.

I'll try that, I was wondering if it was waiting to absorb the configuration file changes

Well that didn’t do it, it will wake itself every 12 hours so I am going to let it sit overnight and try again

I reach out to zooz. The association shows in the ZSE18 data, but the light isn’t effected by the motion detector changing state
