Wait...you were intentionally in the same room w/these people and you're making fun of someone else?

What's wrong with these people?

Ahhh - I can see this is going to take a while...

I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Not making fun, just having fun with something I love.

Sorry if I offended you @mike.maxwell

I don't think you offended anyone, I enjoyed it, sure that he did as well. I was only teasing as well, I'm a serious Star Trek geek, been watching the original series (over and over again) as long as I can remember, and would rather have a phaser than a blaster any day...I mean, what kind of serious weapon goes "pew, pew."

J.K.!!! :innocent: :innocent: :innocent: (great SNL skit :joy:)

I am into Star Trek, or was back then. I remember the outrage when that skit appeared, and how offended people were by it. I thought it was pretty funny, and an obvious parody or lampoon of the rabid Trekkers or Trekkies (not getting into that debate tonight) and the Trek conventions as a whole.

Isn't it obvious? That's a TOS Klingon next to a TWoK Khan!

That's like a having a 2700K blub next to a 6000K blub!

You wouldn’t believe how many homes in my neighborhood have outside lights that are two different color temperatures.

I figure if you own a $500,000 house you should be able to afford two matching bulbs. I guess not. LOL  :joy:

Guilty...two lights on front of garage, one is warm, one is bright white. I had to replace the entire light when one died as it was a built-in LED exterior lamp (a type I will never buy again). The new one, the exact same model, etc., inexplicably turned out to be a bright white LED, exact opposite of the warm white LED in the original set.

I don't like throwing things away that work and since I can't get the same light any more I'd have to buy two new ones and toss the two I have. Not changing them also suits my generally lazy demeanor.

One of my neighbors brings the non-matching bulbs up every few months...say, your not my neighbor, are you? Is that you, Mark!?

I can understand the issue of built in led lights not matching, so I’ll let you off the hook @danabw!

What I’m really referring to are typical light fixtures where you screw in a bulb. All it would take is the purchase of two matching bulbs to make the front of the house look nice!

Yup, I get that, and those are hard to understand...
