ST_Anything/Hubduino polling

Just got my hubduino running - and this is really amazing.. 2 quick questions..
(1) I have 2 polling sensors. Voltage and Ultrasonic. Is there any issue in increasing the polling rate to .5 sec. Currently the default in the CPP file suggests 20 secs.
(2) I understand what Polling and Interrupt sensors are BUT what are Executor sensors ?
