Sonoff SNZB-02 Doesnt show humidity

I just added a Sonoff temp\humidity sensor to my HE and I'm only able to see temp and battery, I've tried re-pairing and nothing changed. Also tried changing device type to generic temp\humidity sensor and back, still nothing.

Anyone know how I can get the humidity data? Configure button changes nothing in device properties.

Did you try hitting "configure" on the device settings page? You should do this especially when changing drivers like you did to the generic driver.

Upon pairing, a configure runs from what I understand, but occasionally you may have to do this if it didn't pair quite right in the first place. So it wouldn't hurt to do it again with the correct driver.

One oddity with these compared to most Zigbee devices is that I think they "sleep" all the time, so a "Configure" might not work (and I'm not sure the dedicated Sonoff driver exposes it for that reason--but if it does, you can certainly try). Have you been sure that you've waited long enough for a humidity report to come in? It's been so long since I've paired mine that I can't remember how long it took, and I'm not sure why it wouldn't fetch at least an initial reading like it does for temperature, so something might be odd regardles...

I tried hitting configure several times, but nothing happened. Is something supposed to happen?

You might try doing a factory reset of the Sonoff device. I do not have one, so I cannot provide the procedure to do so. Then try repairing the device with Hubitat making sure the device is a few feet away from the hub when you do so. If the device pairs as anything other than a Sonoff temperature/humidity sensor, make sure you select that specific driver before saving the device. Hopefully, that will allow both temperature and humidity to be reported.

So, looks like removing the device from the HE, then removing the battery and re-pairing it with the HE did the trick, but only when the device was next to the HE and not just near another Zigbee device on the mesh....

Temp, Battery and Humidity are now available.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Great. I am glad you are good to go.

There is a lot of communications between the device and the hub during the pairing process. Although I have gotten some devices to pair properly when close to a repeater, that does not always happen. Bringing it close to the Hubitat hub is best when you have a device that does not quite complete the pairing process,
