I have a few Sonoff motion sensors, and for the most part they seem to be working quite well for me however the most recent one (paired yesterday) setup absolutely fine, however once I put it in the intended final location (about 2ft from the Hub as it happens) all of yesterday it did not detect any motion events at all (despite us being in the room) and this morning since the sun came up it has been constantly switching (every minute or so) from active to inactive:
Try removing the battery for 30 seconds.
Then put hub in zigbee pairing and then re-pair the device. Do not delete it first. The hub should find it ok as a known device.
As a rule now when I pair any new zigbee device I always pair it and re-pair it again.
Sometimes the initial pairing doesn't get all the information from the device to the hub.
@david20 I have had similar problems before now and found the battery terminals weren't making contact. I had to 'adjust' the battery connector (bent it) to make proper contact. It works every time now
I have done a minor adjustment and after only a few minutes it appears to have solved the issue. I will monitor for a few days to be sure but all looks good.
Hmm. I have one motion sensor that keeps giving out false motion detection.
I've just tweaked the battery contacts and see if this cures the issue.

EDIT. No false motion alerts since I tweaked this sensor. Fingers crossed.
