I'm new to Hubitat and just started to play with it. I got my somfy remote added as a z-wave device, however it's showing as "Somfy 2 Button Controller" with only 2 buttons, but it has 3 buttons(with a Home button at bottom) Wonder if there is any way to get the 3rd button recognized? Is that something a driver controls?
this is late, but if you have somfy remote get a Bond Hub and integrate that, works perfectly
I just discovered that even if I use the Somfy 2 button controller driver, Webcore can see that button 3 (the home button) is pressed, so I can use a Webcore piston to automate actions based on press (or hold-release) of the home button, in addition to using the up and down buttons! Don't know if the Rule Machine can see it or not because I haven't used the Rule Machine, but the built-in button controller could not see button 3.
This applies to the Somfy Plus remote (also branded as a Bali Plus Remote).
Old thread, but wanted to share what I just learned.
After you've included the remote into Hubitat, you can change the driver to "Generic Z-wave Plus Button Controller" and configure it to have 3 buttons. Once you do this, the 3rd button will be recognized by Button Controller, and presumably any other app that originally only showed 2.
